A reader had told about his experiences with not calling enough leading to the relationship going away sooner than he wanted. But he had reservations about calling too much due to a lot of the other information on dating out there.

Once you build the attraction and get her number, you need to call at least every few days until you get a date. She is getting lots of attention from other guys, if you don’t call at all for days and days she will forget about you. And assume you are not very interested.

Once you have had a good date with her. Call about 2 or 3 days later to chat for 10 minutes, see if you feel she is waiting for you to ask her out again. If you get that feel, set something tentative up at least.

Call her again in 2 days or so. Your duty is to get a second date now.

After 2 dates, if things went well call her every 2 or 3 days. Don’t ask for a date everytime, just chat and see how she is doing. Tell her what funny thing you did today.

Don’t wait for her to call, I didn’t learn this for awhile but most women will not call you, they will wait for you to call in the beginning. Now after she is totally into you, she will start calling you. This is good, it is the definite indicator of interest.

If she is calling you, and you like her. You better be calling her more often. Now you are in a relationship even if it is not exclusive yet.

A call every 3 days is really expected at this point. And keep asking her to go do fun things.

Calling every day is too much unless she has really fallen for you and you want to get exclusive. Then she will be calling you 6 times a day Humor her. Let her call but make sure you are busy not just sitting around waiting for her to call. That is not attractive to anybody.

The more you do this the worse your chances get. Once you are in her best friend category, your chances with her are getting closer to zero each day.

Don’t let yourself get in this predicament. You have to let her know right away, you are interested in more. Don’t let her tell you about her love life. Or call you only when SHE needs to talk. If she isn’t calling you twice as often as you call her, surprise she doesn’t even want to date you.

Women will call guys they are interested in. No matter how many gifts you give her or favors you do for her. Do you really want to be the guy she comes to when she is sad about what some other guy did to her?

You need to decide now; do you want to keep her just as a friend or are you going to make your move? If you don’t make the move she never will. Time isn’t going to make it any easier, it ruins your chances.

So stop being a wussy and ask her out on a real date. But first warm her up a little, use your attraction/flirting skills on her. Get her feeling things for you again but and this is a biggie. Tell her you woulda taken her to a cool show tonight.

Do this a few times over a week, and see how she is responding. Keep amping up the flirting. At the end of a week, you should see signs if she is considering you.

Now, you have to move fast when she is warmed up and offer a cool, fun get together, just the two of you. And make sure you end up back at your place. Then just do what you would do with any girl you brought home. Calibrate to her and watch for signs.

Approach directly and fast, Don’t stand there thinking. See her, decide you want to go and talk to her and move in. The 3 second rule is good to follow, it shows you are sure of yourself.
