She knows, so your only job is to be smooth about it and not too eager. But don’t pretend you don’t like her, she will know the difference. You are not fooling anyone. An interesting fact, women actually like talking to guys and enjoy a guys pickup attempt. It is validation and it makes her feel special. So don’t act like you don’t like her.

If you are talking to her about anything besides work related stuff to a coworker. She knows you like her some what at least and probably really like her. So keep it real and be in the moment. Enjoy the interaction and have a good interesting conversation. It doesn’t hurt to be direct and tell her you came over to talk to her and find out more about her.

Find out what she is up to and what kind of things she is interested in. Get her talking about her favorite subject. Maintain some playful teasing, but don’t go overboard trying to keep this on a strictly friendly basis. You don’t want another girl “friend” you want to get to the point where you can easily mention going somewhere soon and telling her you would love it if she came along.

Keep her guessing, whether you are going to ask her out for a little bit. Just don’t try to be actively making her think you are not interested. Don’t ruin your charisma and relaxed nature trying to fake you don’t like her.

You want to reveal a little interest, and let her know you are serious and not just playing around. But keep her laughing and having a good time.

Now being interested is not saying to be incredibly interested in her before you even know much about her. She has a possibility with you and you are checking her out for further investigation.

Don’t be afraid to show your intent but it is measured and will depend on how she is in your book after you talk to her for awhile.

Trying to be sneaky and fake her out is manipulative and she will see through it. Be mature and in the moment, just say hi and start an interesting conversation. Use your flirting and body language to build the attraction.

Stop trying to swoop in under the radar, it doesn’t help and usually only makes things worse.

How to get a girl to be more than friends

So she likes you as a friend and you want to hook up? Afraid to reveal your intentions and spoil the friendship, maybe.

Are you an emotional blanket she calls when she needs somebody to listen to her wail about what her “jerk” boyfriend did?

Do you hang around her as much as possible, just waiting for her to realize she should be dating you? Are you her SUPER NICE friend? A lot of guys do this, they think if they are nice as can be for 6 months or a year the girl they secretly love will suddenly fall for them.

The more you do this the worse your chances get. Once you are in her best friend category, your chances with her are getting closer to zero each day.

Don’t let yourself get in this predicament. You have to let her know right away, you are interested in more. Don’t let her tell you about her love life. Or call you only when SHE needs to talk. If she isn’t calling you twice as often as you call her, surprise she doesn’t even want to date you.

Women will call guys they are interested in. No matter how many gifts you give her or favors you do for her. Do you really want to be the guy she comes to when she is sad about what some other guy did to her?

You need to decide now; do you want to keep her just as a friend or are you going to make your move? If you don’t make the move she never will. Time isn’t going to make it any easier, it ruins your chances.

So stop being a wussy and ask her out on a real date. But first warm her up a little, use your attraction/flirting skills on her. Get her feeling things for you again but and this is a biggie. After she is warmed up with some teasing/flirting you will push her off and say “Too Bad, You just wanna be friends, this could be interesting” Smile and laugh. Tell her you woulda taken her to a cool show tonight.

Do this a few times over a week, and see how she is responding. Keep amping up the flirting. At the end of a week, you should see signs if she is considering you.

Now, you have to move fast when she is warmed up and offer a cool, fun get together, just the two of you. And make sure you end up back at your place. Then just do what you would do with any girl you brought home. Calibrate to her and watch for signs.

The cold hard reality is that people want what they can’t have. And, girls are people too!

Girls tend to notice and appreciate good manners, good grooming, and a sense of panache.
