You’re going to learn the right and wrong ways to approach women and a few timeless principles that will help you become the king of any room. At first, approaching women seems rather difficult. Read on, however, and I will show you how to do so with ease and confidence.

The Problem:

You don’t want to be the guy who makes the woman feel awkward or who comes on too hard.

Women are inundated with both of these kinds of guys. They hate these guys because they waste time, breed awkwardness and tension and act like everyone else.

A guy like this is not special and he’s not sweeping her off her feet. Worst of all, once he’s suspected of being one of these guys her defenses go up so that most of what he says will not emotionally stimulate her. In short, his manhood will have a lot more time to enjoy sitting there unused in his pants.

These guys are slow and misdirected. They’re jumping in the water to see if they’ll instantly develop swimming skills, even though they’ll most likely just run into a strong tide and end up sinking.

You’re going to learn how to approach women so that you’ll be jumping into a conversation fully equipped. You will be the submarine, not the castaway who fell overboard.

The How:

There are a variety of ways to approach women. All can work, but some only because you’re even approaching her at all and you’re going to pick up more women by talking amateurishly to them than by not talking at all.
This is effort. This wastes time. This is embarrassing.

A lot of guys really get caught up with their “looks” when it comes to attracting women.

They think only “good looking guys” can get girls into them.  However, they’re only focusing on ONE SMALL ASPECT of attraction.

See, men place a large importance on physical attractiveness because that’s what initially attracts us to women – their looks.

So we assume that women must be attracted to our looks as well!

Now, I’m not going to tell you that your physical appearance plays no role in whether or not a woman finds you attractive, because it does.

But it isn’t as IMPORTANT as you might think it is.

To women, physical appearance is only a SMALL FACTOR when it comes to attraction.  (Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part, I’ve found this to be the case.)

A bigger factor in a woman’s attraction to a man is how he can make her FEEL.

Understand – women are emotional creatures.  They’re more hard-wired to respond emotionally than men are.  This is just how nature made them.

If you can appeal to her EMOTIONALLY, even if you’re not her “physical type,” you can still attract her.

And nothing creates emotion more powerful than HUMOR.

So let’s talk about how you can use humor to attract women to you…

First of all, let me just get something straight with you:  YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE FUNNY TO USE HUMOR!

Yes, I know, that might sound confusing.  Let me explain…

A big obstacle most guys run into with using humor is that limiting belief:  “But I’m just not that funny!”

However, this means they don’t really know what “humor” means to begin with.

See, “Humor” is a state of mind.  It’s an attitude.  It’s about being positive, not about being funny.

“Funny” is a verb to describe something you do.  “Humor” is meant to describe what you’re experiencing.

So when I talk about using “humor,” I’m really talking about using fun, positive energy to excite and inspire people around you.

And most of the time, that will make the people around you laugh, joke, and have a good time!

So get the idea out of your head that you need to be funny to use humor.  It’s just not the case!

If you use humor in your interactions,  more women will find themselves attracted to you.   They will want to spend more time with you which is door number one to reach with any woman.

Make her laugh,  get her engaged and wanting more.

Wanting more is Attraction.  You will actually feel it when she is in the moment with you.

So forget what you look like, if you can use a little bit of humor in every approach your odds of success will go way up.   You can not change what you look like, but you can totally change how you interact with women.  Don’t be a clown non stop but use some humor to get through her shields and have some fun.

Bars and night-clubs are venues where people go to meet those of the opposite sex. Although a woman may present her agenda as going out ‘dancing’ with her friends, she is there specifically for the potential of a meeting with a suitable male. Her agenda- and her friends- are there to protect her from the many unsuitable males who may present themselves through the course of an evening.

Given this, a woman will often pursue her subconscious agenda of meeting a male she finds attractive by making it easier for him to approach her. Usually she does this through proximity- she stands or sits close to the male she likes. Sometimes her interest will manifest itself more explicitly as an ‘invitation to approach’, which may take the form of a smile, prolonged eye contact, or an actual verbal introduction. The first step in the art of approaching women is for the male to develop a sensitivity for these female ploys, many of which may- understandably, for fear of rejection- be rather subtle.

Even without any invitations to approach, men should be able to quickly generate interest from scratch by observing a few social rules in the venue. The first of these is known as the “three-second rule”, where a man ensures the spontaneity of his intitial contact with a group of strangers by approaching that group within three seconds of first seeing them. There may be occasions when this is impractical, but in general this is a useful rule of thumb because it gets the man outside of his head, and within a short time of entering the venue he should have engaged a decent proportion of people there. He will no longer be a stranger, but very much part of the party.

A man who is having fun, talking to a lot of people, and generating a good energy about himself, is creating what we call ‘positive social proof’. People’s- and especially girls’- radars pick up on this, and he may find more approach invitations coming his way, or sets he opens opening more easily. On the other hand, a man who is walking around the venue in a predatory way, not smiling, or standing with his friends checking out from a distance potential targets often generates negative social proof. People see him as uncomfortable and avoid him.

Practising working a venue is the foundation stone for any successful pick-up artist, and it should become a fun and indispensable ingredient of his social toolkit. Go out, have fun, and be positive with people, and the positive rewards will be commensurate.

Approach directly and fast, Don’t stand there thinking. See her, decide you want to go and talk to her and move in. The 3 second rule is good to follow, it shows you are sure of yourself.

Don’t look at her for 5 minutes before you walk over. Spot her, and then move so it will make perfect sense why you are walking by. You don’t have to keep looking at her, just a quick look, see what she is doing and who she is with.

Next, pull yourself together, ideally you will have already been talking to other people so you are warmed up a little.

The approach needs an opener. Situationals are best, make it an easy one that you know works. Approach her to within a few feet at an angle, don’t confront her aiming right at her. Get her attention and say your opener. Get her laughing about something that is going on around her.

Don’t lean in, stay upright, you are just making conversation. Use good eye contact and smile. See what she is up to, make a joke, a light tease about something she is wearing is good.

You are a cool, calm and strong man, act like it. It doesn’t even matter if she likes you or not. You are just having fun and finding out a little about her.

Involve her friends but she should be your obvious target. But keep her guessing a little. Watch her reactions and gauge your next move. Let her get involved in the conversation and start giving you some indicators of interest. Then you reward her with small amounts of approval mixed with reasons why you two will never get along.

This opener doesn’t need to be more than 2 or 3 minutes long. Just say, ” hey nice chatting but I have to go find my friends” “Catch you later”

Wander off and go back to her a little later and start vibing with her. Just chat and get her into you.
